Quality Engineer (Progression to Quality Manager)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Progression to Manager + Highly Autonomous + Training + Family Run Business
Commutable from Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Bath, Bristol, Trowbridge, Frome, Shepton Mallet, Westbury, and surrounding areas
Are you from a Quality background within Engineering or Manufacturing looking to take the next step in your career through full training and support to become a highly skilled Quality Manager, gaining further responsibility and leading a small team within a well-respected family run business, allowing you full autonomy to put your own stamp on the role?
On offer is an opportunity for a Quality Engineer wanting to progress into a management role where you can play a huge part in enacting improvements within an organisation and mentoring a team of engineers, while being recognised as a leader in your field.
This company are a family run organisation that have been established for more than 70 years, specialising in the manufacture of bespoke products for clients across the UK.
On offer is a role with fantastic progression, where you will be split 50/50 between managing 4 direct reports of Quality Engineers / Inspectors, and leading and improving Quality processes within the business.
This role would suit a Quality Engineer or Quality Manager from an Engineering or Manufacturing background who is looking to step into a Management role with a well-respected family run organisation.
The Role:
- Monday - Friday, 39 hours (flexible hours)
- Managing of Quality processes and improvements
- Managing a team of 4 direct reports
The Person:
- Engineering or manufacturing background
- Quality engineering experience (ISO9001)
- Wants to step into a management position
