Permanent night shift
£37,000 - £42,000 + Shift + Training + Benefits
Location: Newbridge on Wye (LD2)


Are you a Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance Operative looking for a permanent night shift role within a large, secure UK manufacturing business?

This is an excellent opportunity to join the UK's largest timber business and part of a global group operating across the full timber supply chain. Due to continued investment at their Newbridge-on-Wye site, they are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer / Oiler - Greaser to support preventative maintenance operations across the sawmill.

This company is a market leader in their field and continues to go from strength to strength. They are seeking a reliable, hands-on individual who wants a stable, long-term position within a well-established industrial environment, offering strong pay, predictable hours, and a supportive team culture.

This role is a permanent night shift position, ideal for someone who enjoys routine, responsibility, and playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly.

The Role

  • Lubricating moving part of heavy equipment throughout the mill.
  • Changing oil in machine reservoirs; Cleaning and replacing oil filters.
  • Some Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical
  • Permanent night shift


The Person

  • Mechanicalengineering background (any industry/ environment)
  • Strong hands-on electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience
  • Happy with Permanent Nights
