On offer is a pivotal role managing the full mechanical design of bespoke Medium Voltage solutions, focusing on the intricate 2D elevation and detailed section views unique to MV projects. To ensure you remain an industry leader, you will benefit from a unique weekly training initiative where senior experts share specialist knowledge across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with a specialist focus on Medium Voltage switchgear and enclosures looking for greater technical complexity and a fast-track to management.
The Role:
- Lead the mechanical design of complex MV switchgear
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to manage the submittal and approval phase of new designs
- Receive specialist technical training via weekly sessions and direct mentorship from VPs and Senior Leadership
The Person:
- Mechanical Design experience specifically within power distribution (Switchgear/Switchboards)
- Experience with enclosure design with sheet metal, bolted designs, or cabinetry
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
