On offer is a pivotal role managing the full mechanical design of bespoke Low Voltage solutions using advanced 3D modeling. This position provides high technical status, allowing you to oversee the full assembly of components and provide direct support to the manufacturing floor. You will benefit from a unique weekly training initiative covering both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
This role would suit an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer with sheet metal experience seeking technical autonomy and a clear path to management.
The Role:
- Lead the mechanical design of LV switchgear using Inventor or SolidWorks to create full 3D assemblies.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from purchasing components to supporting the quality control and manufacturing teams.
- Receive specialist technical training via weekly sessions and direct mentorship from VPs and Senior Leadership
The Person:
- 3D Mechanical Design experience specifically with sheet metal, enclosures, or bolted designs.
- Strong technical proficiency in Inventor or SolidWorks and experience with ERP or PLM systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
