This company are a successful commercial construction contractor operating in Austin, Texas, completing projects ranging from K-12/Educational facilities, mixed-use retail and light commercial. Specialising in drywall and acoustical construction, this well-established business prides itself on building long term relationships with its clients and staff to fuel future growth.
On offer is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious commercial estimator looking to advance their skillset in drywall construction and progress into technical leadership. You will conduct estimates for commercial drywall projects, including interior finish outs, with the prospect of working on increasingly larger-scale projects as you progress within the company.
This role would suit an enthusiastic drywall estimator looking to pursue technical excellence in commercial preconstruction while becoming part of a tight-knit company culture.
The Role:
- Conducting estimates for commercial drywall, acoustical ceilings, and interior finish-outs.
- Utilising take-off software to conduct accurate assessments for drywall and acoustical construction.
- Collaborate with senior staff to complete ground-up commercial projects within budget.
The Person:
- Experience with commercial drywall estimating.
- Proficiency in On-Screen Take-Off and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of commercial interior finishes.
