Business Development Director
Galway (Office Based with European Travel)
€80,000 - €100,000 + €10,000 Car Allowance / Car + Performance Bonus + International Progression Options + Training
This established contractor and modular construction provider delivers projects across data centres, healthcare, pharma, education and commercial sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work across the UK and Europe, the business is now focused on expanding its presence within the data centre market and wider European regions.
This is a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a growing construction and modular specialist with ambitious European expansion plans and strong long-term career prospects.
Are you a Business Development professional from a construction or manufacturing background looking to step into a high-impact, strategic role?
Do you want to play a key role in driving growth across European markets while building long-term client relationships and shaping business direction?
In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive new business opportunities, develop client relationships and support bid submissions across international markets. You will play a key role in identifying growth areas, attending industry events and representing the business.
With that, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within construction or a related sector, along with excellent commercial awareness and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

The Role:
- Driving business development across UK and European markets
- Building and maintaining key client and stakeholder relationships
- Identifying and pursuing new project opportunities
- Supporting bid submissions alongside commercial teams
- Attending industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
- Representing the business in client meetings and presentations
The Person:
- Proven business development experience within construction or manufacturing
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
- Confident presenting and pitching to clients
- Excellent networking and relationship building skills
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to winning new business
- Willing to travel internationally
