Working Site Foreman (Carpentry Background)
Oxfordshire - Site Based
£40,000 - £50,000 + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Pension + 20 Days Holiday + Discretionary Bonus
Are you a carpenter with site experience looking to step into a Working Foreman role on high-quality bespoke residential projects?
Are you looking for a hands-on position where you can take ownership on-site while still being actively involved in the build process?
This is an opportunity to join a long-established and highly regarded construction company delivering high-end bespoke residential and heritage projects across Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will join a close-knit team and play a key role in the delivery of projects, combining hands-on carpentry with site coordination responsibilities.
In this position you will lead day-to-day site activity, coordinate trades, and ensure work is carried out safely, on time and to a high standard while remaining actively involved on the tools.
This role would ideally suit an experienced carpenter who is looking to take the next step into site leadership, or an existing Working Foreman seeking long-term progression within a growing company.
The Role:
* Leading and coordinating trades on site
* Delivering daily briefings and organising workloads
* Carrying out hands-on carpentry work
* Monitoring health & safety and site standards
* Maintaining site reports and progress updates
* Attending site meetings and reporting to the Site/Project Manager
The Person:
* Strong carpentry background with on-site experience
* Experience within residential construction
* Ability to manage trades and organise daily site activity
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
