Technical Sales Engineer
£55,000 to £59,000 + Company Car + Sales Bonus + Training + Progression + Excellent Company Benefits
Midlands or Southwest based, with travel to customer sites across key UK industrial areas
Are you a Technical Sales professional from an engineering background looking to join a well-established international engineering company working with major industrial clients across the UK?
This is a great opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer where you will play a key role in developing new business and managing customer relationships across a range of heavy industry sectors, within a consultative technical sales environment focused on long term partnerships.
The company supply specialist equipment used in demanding industrial environments, helping customers improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs across sectors such as manufacturing, energy, mining and heavy industry. You will be joining a small specialist sales team within an international engineering group supplying equipment to customers worldwide.
In this role you will develop new and existing clients across heavy industry environments, working closely with reliability and maintenance teams across the UK. The role is home based with travel to customer sites, with travel typically managed to keep visits within a few hours of where you are based.
This role would suit a Technical Sales professional with experience working around industrial equipment who is looking to progress within a specialist engineering business offering strong technical training and long-term career development.
The Role:
- Develop new and existing customer relationships across heavy industry sectors
- Provide technical sales support and product advice to industrial clients
- Field based role covering the UK, home based with travel to customer sites
- Travel managed to keep most customer visits within a few hours of your location
- Support marketing activities including trade shows and industry events
- Full technical training including product training and exposure to manufacturing processes
The Person:
- Technical Sales experience within engineering products
- Mechanical or engineering background with knowledge of industrial equipment
- Comfortable working on industrial sites and speaking with maintenance teams
- Full UK driving licence and happy with UK travel
