You will be trusted to run your sites, supported by experienced project teams, and recognized for delivering work that requires precision, professionalism, and accountability.
This is a well-established and rapidly expanding contractor with a strong healthcare portfolio across Southwest Florida. They are known for delivering hospital expansions, medical office buildings, and complex renovations within active patient environments. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint a Superintendent to lead some of their most high-profile and technically challenging projects.
In this role, you will take full ownership of site operations. You will lead day-to-day construction activities, coordinate multiple trades, manage schedules, and enforce the highest standards of safety and quality. Acting as the primary on-site representative, you will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and healthcare stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.
This role would suit a Superintendent with healthcare and or commercial construction experience who is ready to step into larger, more complex projects and progress into Senior Leadership through a structured and realistic career pathway.
The Role:
- Lead healthcare and commercial construction projects from site start-up through completion
- Manage live and occupied healthcare environments, prioritizing safety, quality, and uninterrupted operations
- Take full responsibility for site operations, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure clear communication and seamless execution
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements
The Person:
- Superintendent with healthcare and or commercial construction experience
- Comfortable managing complex, multi-trade construction sites
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, schedules, and site management systems
- Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Motivated by progression into Senior Superintendent and long-term leadership
