Service Manager - Wind Energy
€60,000 - €65,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Pension + Benefits
Limerick / Tipperary (Regional Role)
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations or Site Manager from the Wind, Renewables or Industrial Engineering sector to join a global and industry-leading wind turbine manufacturer. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing safety, performance, people and budgets across a regional service area.
You'll lead multi-site, field-based teams, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in business growth within a fast-moving renewable energy environment.
The Role
- Full accountability for QHSE, acting as a visible safety and quality leader
- Overall responsibility for operational performance, turbine availability and reliability
- Ownership of budgets, cost control, KPIs and commercial performance
- Lead and develop remote, field-based service teams
- Recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning
- Resource planning, including staffing, inventory and stock control
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI analysis and reporting
- Oversee site operations, audits, major works and improvement initiatives
- Act as the key customer interface for operational matters
- Support service handovers, new site mobilisation and business growth
The Person
- Proven leadership experience in a similar technical / engineering sector
- Mechanical or Electrical background (apprenticeship or equivalent preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
- Experienced in managing remote, field-based engineering teams
- Confident people manager with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments when required
- Full driving licence essential
