Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Bromsgrove - Office based - Hybrid working possible
Up to £65,000 + Increasing Holiday + Pension + Hybrid work possible
Are you an experienced mechanical design engineer looking to join a new department that is rapidly growing within a well-established company?
On offer is an exciting new permanent opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to join a growing company that provide opportunities of Hybrid Working.
This company specialises in creating climate control systems in the energy, waste, logistical and pharmaceutical markets and is expanding into new sectors. Using bespoke systems that are created with environmental protection in mind.
In this role the ideal candidate will design and estimate HVAC projects to a high standard and complete and be able to review all necessary design calculations as relevant.
The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience as a mechanical design engineer particularly with experience in the HVAC or building services Industry.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced mechanical design engineer looking for career development this company offers the right candidate the ability to help manage the Design team reporting to the design manager.
The Role:
* Design and estimate HVAC projects to a high standard and complete and be able to review all necessary design calculations as relevant
* for completing, overseeing and checking designs and estimates throughout your team.
* Design calculations: Heat Loss, Heat Gains, Airflow Calculations, Pipe Sizing, Duct Sizing, Pressure Drops and others.

The Person:
* Experience in the Utilities or Construction industry
* HVAC Knowledge
* Autocad 2D Lvl 2 or above
*Competency in H&S demonstrated through IOSH or similar qualification
