Mechanical Engineer
$130,000 - $150,000 + Profit Sharing + 401(k) + Mileage Reimbursement + Full Benefits

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC expertise looking for a high-autonomy role where you can take technical ownership, influence project direction, and work on meaningful energy and decarbonisation projects?

This is a long-established energy services organization with decades of industry experience. The business focuses on helping commercial clients reduce energy costs and carbon footprints through energy conservation measures, HVAC system optimisation, and renewable solutions.
On offer is a highly autonomous Mechanical Engineer position with a strong HVAC focus, where you will lead the development of technical solutions, support project delivery, and collaborate closely with internal teams and clients. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing efficient, sustainable mechanical systems that position the business as a strategic partner rather than a transactional supplier.
This role would suit someone who wants recognition for their technical expertise, real responsibility, and long-term project impact, rather than a traditional corporate ladder.
The Role:
- Lead the design, analysis, and development of HVAC and mechanical systems across commercial and industrial projects
- Develop technical specifications, support proposals and project estimates in collaboration with sales and leadership teams
- Engage directly with clients through meetings and site visits to understand technical requirements and deliver bespoke engineering solutions
- Receive ongoing development and mentoring from highly experienced industry leaders across HVAC, energy services, and sustainable technologies
The Candidate:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- HVAC engineering background within commercial or industrial environments
- Experience designing, specifying, or delivering mechanical/HVAC systems
- Confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels
