Canterbury (Hybrid - 1-2 Days in Office)

£46,000 - £53,000 + Excellent Package (Healthcare, Wellbeing Initiatives, Birthday Off, Pension)

This consultancy specialises in sustainable landscape design and planning, working across new developments, regeneration schemes, parks, and public realm projects. With a highly collaborative team environment and a commitment to continuous training, the business is well positioned for growth and now seeks a Senior Landscape Architect who can help take on increasing project demand.

In this role, you will support and lead on planning-stage landscape design work, produce fee proposals, feasibility reports, SketchUp models, and design documentation, as well as oversee inputs from the wider team. The position offers hybrid working, excellent work-life balance, and the chance to work on meaningful, environmentally focused projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and design skills, excellent report-writing ability, and confidence working across planning stages. Collaboration, willingness to learn, and a positive, team-focused mindset are essential.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality landscape design and planning work
  • Produce fee proposals, feasibility reports, and design documentation
  • Create SketchUp models and project visuals
  • Write management specifications and technical reports
  • Oversee inputs from junior team members
  • Work predominantly within planning stages
  • Hybrid working: 1-2 days per week in the Canterbury office


The Person:

  • Strong competency in landscape design and planning
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp
  • Understanding of SuDS principles
  • Degree Qualified
  • Collaborative, helpful, and eager to learn
  • Positive mindset with strong team-working ability
