Tiverton
£32,000 to £36,000 per annum plus paid overtime, 40 hour week, permanent role, pension, health and wellbeing support, increasing annual leave, birthday day off, paid volunteer day, overnight expenses covered, full industry training provided
Are you an experienced Pipe Fitter looking to build a long term career within renewable energy?
Do you want to work on commercial biomass installations nationwide with paid overtime and full industry training?
With over 15 years of experience in renewable energy and close to a thousand biomass boilers installed across the UK, this established business is continuing to expand its engineering function. They specialise in the design, supply and installation of biomass systems and pride themselves on quality delivery and long term customer relationships.
This is a field based position supporting commercial biomass installations and projects nationwide. You will work on installs, servicing and breakdowns while ensuring all work meets design drawings and health and safety standards. The role will involve working away during the week when required, with overnight expenses paid.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar pipe fitting or engineering role and be confident working both independently and within a team.
The Person:
* Previous pipe fitting experience
* Mechanical or electrical background
* Full UK driving licence
* Good communication skills
* Organised and reliable
The Role:
* Install commercial biomass systems
* Service and maintain boilers
* Diagnose faults and breakdowns
* Complete reports and paperwork
* Work away when required
