Experienced Commercial Pipe Fitter
Tiverton
£35,000 + £40,000 per annum (depending on experience), 40 hour week, permanent role, pension, health and wellbeing support, increasing annual leave, birthday day off, overnight expenses paid, full industry training provided
Are you an experienced commercial Pipe Fitter looking to take the lead on nationwide biomass projects?
Do you want a hands-on, field-based role with progression and industry training in renewable energy?
With over 15 years' experience installing biomass boilers nationwide, this established company is expanding its engineering team. They specialise in the design, supply, and installation of renewable energy systems and are committed to quality delivery and long-term career development.
This is a field-based role where you will lead pipefitting activities on commercial biomass installations, supervise builds, troubleshoot faults, and carry out servicing and maintenance across the UK. The role involves working away from home during the week with overnight expenses paid, and offers full industry-specific training.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in commercial pipefitting, a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background, and the confidence to work independently while supervising junior team members.
The Person:
* Previous commercial pipefitting experience
* Mechanical or electrical engineering background
* Full UK driving licence
* Good communication skills
* Organised and reliable
The Role:
* Lead pipefitting on commercial biomass projects
* Install, service, and maintain boilers
* Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns
* Produce reports and parts lists
* Supervise junior staff and maintain compliance
