In this role, you'll deliver engaging teaching and learning across Mechanical Engineering courses from Level 1-3. You'll cover both theory and practical areas such as CAD, Milling and Turning, Welding, Mechanical & Electronic Principles, and Engineering Mathematics. You'll also provide tutorial support, help develop curriculum materials, and prepare learners for progression into industry or higher education.
The ideal candidate will have a degree, HND or Level 3 qualification in Engineering, relevant industry experience, and a passion for sharing skills with the next generation. A teaching qualification is desirable, but full training will be provided.

The Role
Teaching Mechanical Engineering across Levels 1-3
Delivering both theory and practical modules including CAD, Milling, Turning, and Welding
Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential
Preparing and developing teaching materials and assessments
Full teacher training provided if not already held
The Person
Degree, HND or Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Industry experience in machining, fabrication, CAD or related fields
Strong communication and organisational skills
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Passion for inspiring the next generation of Engineers
