In this role, you'll support a caseload of apprentices working towards Engineering qualifications. You'll be responsible for teaching, assessing, coaching and mentoring apprentices in both workplace and classroom environments, preparing them for end point assessments and ensuring they achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline such as machining, inspection, technical support or maintenance, and be passionate about training and mentoring others. A driving licence and flexibility to travel locally are required.

The Role


  • Full training provided (including TAQA if not already held)

  • Teaching, assessing and mentoring apprentices in Engineering disciplines

  • Managing your own caseload and diary

  • Delivering a mix of workplace visits, classroom teaching and digital learning

  • Preparing apprentices for their End Point Assessment

  • Excellent progression opportunities within a growing team


The Person


  • Background in Engineering (Machining, Inspection, Maintenance or Technical Support)

  • Hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline

  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel locally

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Desire to move into a trainer/assessor role and inspire the next generation
