Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC programming experience, looking to take ownership of machining processes and drive improvements in efficiency, tooling, and production performance?

On offer is the opportunity to become a key technical specialist within a growing, well-established manufacturer, where you'll optimise CNC operations, improve cycle times, and play a vital role in scaling production capability.

This company is a long-established, privately owned manufacturer supplying complex engineered systems into highly regulated industries including energy, aerospace, and defence. With over a century of success and a strong project pipeline following major contract wins, they are investing heavily in both their facilities and their people. Employee development is a genuine priority, with tuition, certifications and further education fully supported and funded.

On offer is a technically challenging role where you will take ownership of CNC machining processes, focusing on programming, tooling optimisation, and equipment performance. By analysing machining workflows, cycle times, and tooling strategies, you'll implement improvements that drive efficiency, quality, and machine reliability.

This role would suit a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC programming experience who enjoys solving machining challenges, improving processes, and building long-term technical capability within a stable and growing organisation.

The Role:

  • Optimise CNC machining processes to improve cycle times, throughput, and efficiency
  • Program CNC machines using MasterCAM or GibbsCAM
  • Analyse tooling, fixturing, and workflows to enhance machining performance and reduce setup times

The Candidate:

  • Experience in manufacturing engineering with strong CNC programming capability
  • Proficiency with MasterCAM or GibbsCAM
  • Background in machining within heavy industrial, aerospace, or similar environments preferred
  • Receive ongoing mentoring, technical training, and professional development from experienced engineering leaders
