Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

$100,000 - $130,000 + 401(k) + Benefits Package + Bonus + On-the-Job & External Training + Career Growth

This role is ideal for a Senior Engineer looking for full ownership of the day-to-day operations and play a key role in executing strategic growth into robotics, motion control, and integrated automation.

In this role, you will report directly to the President, leading a cross-functional team including engineering and production. You'll unify efforts between electrical and mechanical teams, improve structure, and drive high-quality execution across complex projects. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping company culture and long-term capabilities. You will work closely with ownership in a role with clear impact and high visibility and receive ongoing training and development, including exposure to top industry suppliers like Siemens.

The Role:

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations including electrical control panels, mechanical fabrication, and light integration
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and the Production Manager
  • Take ownership of project management and drive improvement in quality, scheduling, cost, and delivery performance
  • Align engineering as a profit center, collaborating with sales and customers on technical scoping and execution
  • Promote continuous improvement and cultural cohesion within a lean, autonomous environment

The Person:

  • Background in electrical or manufacturing engineering / automation
  • Hands-on understanding of control systems, UL 508A panel design, PLCs, HMIs, motion systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a bias for action and accountability
