Are you a hands-on Technician or Engineer from an Industrial, Automotive or Marine background looking to step into a leadership role within a unique, close-knit business offering variety, flexibility and long-term progression?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading business, in a key leadership role at their Chertsey base on the River Thames.
This global leading marine company operate over 1,000 boats worldwide across the UK, Europe and Canada. The UK base is home to a close-knit permanent team and additional seasonal staff during peak months. Due to an upcoming retirement, they are now looking to appoint a Head Technician to take ownership of the workshop and lead the local team.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the fleet, leading a small team of technicians, and supporting seasonal staff during the busy summer period. Full training will be provided on systems and vessels, making this role ideal for someone from a marine, automotive or mechanical background with a hands-on approach and the confidence to lead.
This role would suit a Technician, Engineer or Workshop Lead looking for responsibility, stability and a varied role with real ownership.
The Role:
- Servicing, maintaining and preparing boats for customer use
- Leading a small permanent team and seasonal staff during peak months
- Hands-on workshop role with responsibility for day-to-day operations
The Person:
- Mechanical, automotive, marine or similar technical background
- Comfortable leading or stepping up to lead a small team
- Full UK Driver's License
