Alexandria, Virginia (Commutable from: Springfield, Newington, Arlington, Fairfax, Lorton)

$45 - $50 per hour + Signing on Bonus up to $5000 + Premium rates of Overtime + Paid External and Internal Training + Progression + 401k + Health Care Benefits + Relocation Assistance

Are you an EC&I Technician with Allen-Bradley experience looking to join a company who offer plenty of overtime, lean practice training, and progression?

Do you have preexisting Electrical knowledge looking to step into a role with a clear route of progression, working within a highly-skilled team of experts in the industry?

This company are well established in the industry and know for their great working environments, excellent benefits packages, and premium rates of overtime at time and half. The right individual will have the opportunity to progress within the business who from day one will be on structured progression plan.

In this role you will have a strong electrical background, with experience in programming PLCs using Allen-Bradley SLC-500 and Control Logix. This will also include the operation of power plant electrical equipment, possessing the skills to carry out maintenance checks, repairs, and instrumentation.

This role will suit an Instrumentation Technician looking to step into a company who cultivates an environment which embraces teamwork and provides the opportunities for growth.

The Role:

  • No two days are the same, react to power outages/malfunctioning machinery
  • Get assignments for the day for planned maintenance and repairs
  • Core hours of work will be 6am to 4pm, there will be 1 week in 4 that you are on call out and other overtime is available - however premium rates are paid for this
  • Clear training and progression plans made from day one for all employees

The Person:

  • You will ideally have strong PLC experience - Allen Bradley preferred or Control Logix
  • Relevant backgrounds would be: waste management, energy from waste, oil & gas, nuclear, pharmaceutical or similar
  • Looking to join a company with structured progression to help you become an expert in the industry
