Forward Deployed Engineer (Voice AI Startup)

With demand growing rapidly, they're hiring a Founding Deployment / Solutions Engineer to work side-by-side with customers, understand their toughest operational workflows, and deploy voice agents into high-stakes environments.
You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and enterprise operations, transforming complex customer requirements into reliable, production-ready systems. Expect meaningful ownership over solution design, integration paths, deployment quality, and the creative adaptation of platform capabilities.
You'll collaborate closely with founders and customer teams, implementing features directly into live environments, iterating fast, and shaping deployment patterns that future engineers will build on. It's a high-autonomy environment ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage velocity and wants to see their work drive measurable KPIs immediately.

The Role
-Work directly with customers to architect and deploy voice-AI workflows that solve real operational pain points
-Integrate systems end-to-end across APIs, data flows, and business logic to support production traffic
-Ship code that adapts platform behaviour to domain-specific requirements and customer constraints
-Debug live issues, improve platform reliability, and drive changes informed by real conversational traffic
-Travel to customer sites (up to ~25%) when hands-on deployment is critical to success
The Person
-Post-college engineering experience with a high growth startup
-Strong coder with proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
-Customer-first mindset, comfortable working in ambiguous environments at speed
-Self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn cutting-edge AI tooling
