Field Mechanical Technician (70% Travel)

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour + Bonus + Specialist Training + Overtime + Company Vehicle + 401k + 17 days PTO + Medical & Dental (80%) + 11 Paid Holidays
Are you a Mechanical Technician from a manufacturing or construction background looking to join an industry leading company offering a varied position with specialist training and career progression opportunities?
This is market leading company provide a range of engineering services to clients in oil & gas, chemical, steel and renewable energy and due to continual growth and investment they are hiring a range of people to join the organization.
In this position, you will be part of the installation team where you will receive specialist training from experts to carry out inspections, surveys and installation of niche mechanical equipment. You will work in the filed approximately 70% of the time travelling to customer sites across North America.
This role would suit someone with mechanical skills from a construction or engineering background, looking for a technical development to become a specialist engineer, with exceptional earning potential and a great company package.
The Position:
* Work on projects to carry out equipment installations, inspections and surveys
* Travel to customer sites across the US 70% (fully expensed)
* Plenty of overtime available to boost your earnings, along with specialist training and career progression

The Candidate:
* Mechanical skills
* Eager to learn and develop as there is full training provided
* Construction, manufacturing or engineering experience
