Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant

Edinburgh - Hybrid/Flexible Working

£30,000 - £40,000 + Life Assurance + Training Allowance + Performance Bonus + Holiday Purchase Scheme

This consultancy provide solutions to both public and private sector clients providing support in their specialist sectors such as Energy Development & Supply, Environmental Protection & Regulatory Compliance and Ecology

This role will see you doing things such as providing support to the Environmental Assessment team in developing new business opportunities and writing tender proposals for EIA projects across a range of sectors. In addition to this you will be cover aspects of project management and liaising with planners, architects and developers while representing the company.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role where they have been involved in the project management of EIA and in compiling EIA reports while holding a relevant degree. It would be advantageous to hold a membership of a relevant institute such as AIEMA, MIEMA or PIEMA.

The role:
* Aspects of management, coordination and writing relevant sections of Environmental report across a range of sectors.
* Supporting to the EIA team by developing new business opportunities and writing tender proposals for this.
* Managing, directing and liaising with planners, architects and developers
* Being the person for day-to-day client interface

The Person:
* Previous experience in a Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant role or similar
* Relevant degree in Planning, Environmental Management, Geography or similar
* Strong industry knowledge and understanding of the regulations and legislations.
