£45,000 - £55,000 + Fantastic Technical Training + 33 Days Holiday + Medicash + Death in Service + Early Friday Finish
Office based role, commutable from Bideford, Barnstaple, Great Torrington, Braunton, Bude, and the surrounding areas.
Are you from an Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Project Manager or similar with strong leadership skills and looking to take the helm of a thriving department where you will manage a team of 10 Engineers make key autonomous decisions and lead the team to ensure strong performance and continuous improvement is maximised throughout?
On offer is a senior position within a well-established manufacturer who will invest heavily into your technical development and provide the opportunity to take charge of key projects within the business, further contributing to the company's overall success and continuous improvement.
The company are a specialist manufacturer producing high-performance composite and polymer components for technically demanding industries such as aerospace defence automotive and industrial applications.
The role involves leading and developing the Engineering team to drive strong performance, quality and continuous improvement while ensuring all engineering outputs meet required compliance and safety standards the position works closely with internal stakeholders to support new enquiries and concept projects monitors key engineering metrics to improve efficiency and provides strategic input to management on engineering direction capability and priorities.
The role would suit a someone from an Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Project Manager or similar with strong leadership skills looking for the autonomy to make key decisions in thriving business.
The Role:
*Lead and develop the Engineering team to drive performance capability and continuous improvement
*Ensure engineering deliverables meet compliance quality and health safety environmental standards
*Support new enquiries and concept projects through feasibility and technical input
*Provide strategic engineering insight while monitoring metrics to improve efficiency and delivery
