Design Engineer
Nottingham (South) - Commutable from Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Grantham
£42-49K plus bonus plus hybrid working plus benefits
39 Hours Mon-Fri, site based role
Are you an experienced Design Engineer from a Precision engineering background for a superb opportunity with a global manufacturer, with hybrid working available?
This role offers job security, an excellent working environment and the opportunity for further training and progression. There is also a high degree of complexity and variety in the work so these opportunities come up rarely due to the stability of the team.
On top of the basic salary, earnings can be increased bonus. The site is clean, modern and comes with an onsite subsidised cafeteria and gym.
The role will be focused on hands on CAD design using solidwaorks and client facing design project management tasks. You will predominantly be working with plastics and polymers , and with clients in the aerospace and energy markets.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD design, preferably SolidWorks, have knowledge with FEA analysis and be from a similar industry such as Aerospace or Energy.
The Role
1. Full time permanent role with a global manufacturing company. Hybrid working available
2. Hands on CAD design and client facing design project management.
3. Working on plastics and polymers.
The Person
1. Engineering degree
2. Extensive working experience as a Design Engineer, SolidWorks highly advantageous
3. Background in Aerospace/Energy industries advantageous
