£43,000 to £48,000 + Progression + Specialist software training + Early Friday Finish + Benefits
Rochdale, Greater Manchester (Commutable from: Manchester, Bolton, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Oldham)
Are you a Design Engineer / Designer, with experience in toolmaking / component design, looking to join a leading SME, where you work on state-of-the-art projects from cradle to grave?
This is fantastic opportunity to join an established business, where you will have the opportunity to progress and develop your skills through specialist training.
This company are a leading manufacturer for the Northwest, supplying tier one companies with crucial components for large scale production. Due to company growth, they are looking to add a design engineer to their skilled team.
In this role you will work with high end tier one companies to design components / fixtures for a range of industries. You will liaise directly with the sales and projects teams.
The Role:
- Deign Engineer
- Design key components for tier one companies
- Develop new products
- Coordinate with customers and subcontractors
- Training on new CAD systems
The Person:
- CAD Design background
- Toolmaking / component design experience
- Experience with Jigs / fixtures
- Full UK driving license.
