$80,000 - $100,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Are you a Controls Engineer with PLC programming experience who wants to own full machine builds from concept through to commissioning?

This is a hands-on role working on custom-built industrial equipment, with involvement across design, build, and delivery.

Join a well-established manufacturer building heavy-duty machinery used across the U.S. and internationally. Everything is designed and built in-house, giving engineers full visibility from concept through to completion.

You'll design electrical controls, develop PLC programs, and work closely with production as equipment is built and tested. You'll see your designs physically built, tested, and running on the shop floor, and support systems once delivered to customers.

The team is small and close-knit, with long-term employees and real ownership of work. It's well suited to someone from a machine builder, OEM, or automation environment who enjoys varied, custom projects.

The Role:

  • Design electrical controls and develop PLC programs for custom industrial equipment
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics and control cabinet layouts
  • Support panel wiring, testing, and commissioning with production

The Person:

  • PLC programming experience
  • Background in controls, automation, or machine design
  • Able to design electrical circuits for industrial equipment
