Control Engineering Manager (Electricity Networks)
Bury St Edmunds - Commutable from Ipswich, Newmarket
£47,000 - £51,000 + Car/Car Allowance, Training + Progression + Superb pension
37.5 Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer from a electricity networks background looking for an exciting opportunity to join a major player in the industry that will offer excellent long term career progression?
This is a varied , prestigious position combing lead a team with engineering tasks.

You will be responsible for the control team, leading the management of electrical network operations, focusing on safety and emergency response.
This role would suit an Engineer with working knowledge of utilities in the safe and efficient management of electrical network construction.
The Role:
- Full time, office based leadership role with a large utilities infrastructure company
- Lead the safe, effective operation of the electrical distribution network
- Manage all electrical connections work including Instruction of staff with the installing, operating and repairing of the Electricity network
- Lead the companies emergency resilience and act as the escalation point for emergency incidents.
The Person:
- Relevant electrical or power engineering degree
- Experience of electrical distribution network work up to 33kVA
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation (IOSH)
- Experience of leading a team of engineers
- Due to office location a UK driving licence/vehicle is required
