Up to £80,000 per annum + Chartership Support + Progression to Director + Excellent Bonus

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a successful, growing consultancy in a role with a diverse workload, fantastic client facing opportunities, alongside a generous salary with the prospect for training and progression.

This well-established company are a multidisciplinary surveying consultancy covering multiple areas of building surveying, focusing primarily on commercial and industrial clients. Works they cover include refurbishment, contract administration, surveying work, and dilapidations. They have incredibly low staff turnover and pride themselves on their honesty and integrity. This expanding company are now looking to take on a Building Surveyors in line with their long-term growth plans of expanding their workload with new and existing clients.

Within this role, the work will include working with commercial, private property and pension fund clients, with elements of dilapidations, party wall, contract administration, and project works. There will be a good balance of site work and office work, working alongside top tier clients and varied projects.

The ideal candidate will be a Building Surveyor with experience working on commercial and industrial projects, looking to work for a small consultancy where you will have autonomy with a highly experienced team and the chance to work from cradle to grave. The ideal candidate will also be based a commutable distance to Chesham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a thriving consultancy where you can develop and learn whilst being exposed to top tier clients and projects.

The Role:

  • Building Surveyor.
  • Split between office work and site visits in and around London.
  • Cradle to grave project management of own workload (with support as needed).
  • Contract Admin & Dilapidations
  • Support with Chartership (if required).
  • Progression to Director.


The Person:

  • Experience within the commercial, industrial or local authority desirable but not essential.
  • Strong building surveying technical knowledge.
  • Understanding of JCT contracts, dilapidation reports, and party wall surveying highly desirable but training will be provided as necessary.
  • Comfortable working within a smaller practice.
