Chesham (Office & Site based)

£60,000 - £75,000 + Profit-Related Bonus + Training & Development + Progression

Established over a decade ago, this specialist consultancy delivers project services, dilapidations, refurbishments, and commercial building surveying work. Their clients range from national blue-chip organisations to smaller private firms, with project values typically up to £4m. With a strong reputation, a growing workload, and a commitment to steady, sustainable expansion, the practice is strengthening its team to support future growth.

In this role, you will split your time between site inspections and office-based project work. You will undertake surveys, prepare specifications, manage refurbishments, and take projects through to delivery. Supported by internal and external training resources, RICS CPD hours, and ongoing professional development, you will have every opportunity to develop your expertise and grow into more senior responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be an Associate RICS or MRICS Building Surveyor with commercial project experience, refurbishment knowledge, and several years post-qualification experience. A positive attitude, strong communication skills are key attributes.

The Role:

  • Carry out building inspections and technical surveys
  • Write specifications and prepare detailed project documentation
  • Manage refurbishment projects through to delivery
  • Undertake admin and reporting from the office
  • Work on commercial projects typically ranging from £500k-£4m
  • Split time approximately 50/50 between office and site


The Person:

  • AssocRICS or MRICS
  • Commercial project and refurbishment experience
  • Strong project delivery skills
  • Able to work independently and manage own workload
  • Positive, professional, and motivated with a stable track record
  • Commutable to Chesham
