AM2 Electrical Examiner (Full Training Provided)

Are you a qualified electrician looking for a new challenge where you can use your expertise to shape the next generation of electricians?
This is a unique opportunity to move off the tools and into a rewarding role where you'll assess and support apprentices at a dedicated electrical assessment centre. Full training in assessing is provided.
This growing training provider is one of the largest in the UK, known for delivering high-quality education and practical training to future electricians. With a busy, well-equipped AM2 Centre in Birmingham, they're now looking to expand their passionate team.
In this role, you'll assess apprentices completing their AM2 assessments - a vital step toward becoming fully qualified. You'll observe practical work, mark assessments using a clear framework, and help maintain the assessment bays and materials.
The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications, a JIB Gold Card, and at least five years' experience as a practicing electrician. No assessing experience is required - you'll receive full training and support.

The Role:
*Assess AM2 apprentices in a practical electrical setting
*Provide feedback and ensure assessment quality and consistency
*Maintain stock and prep work bays between assessments
*Monday-Friday (daytime hours)
The Person:
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (C&G 2360, 18th Edition,2391/2394/95)
*Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified electrician
*JIB Graded Electrician or Approved Electrician with ECS Gold Card
*Looking to move into assessment or education (assessor training provided)
*Based within a commutable distance of Birmingham
