Vehicle Technician (Specialist Plant/ HGV)
£37,000 - £38,500 + Overtime + OTE £45k+ + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training + Progression + Benefits

The Role
- Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on HGV, LGV, and Plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
- Use diagnostic tools to fault-find and ensure the reliability of plant and vehicle systems.
- Document repair and maintenance work accurately using the company's digital system.
The Person
- Previous experience as a Workshop Technician, Plant Fitter, or similar role.
- Good technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Confident in diagnosing and repairing faults, ideally with electrical knowledge.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential, HGV Class 2 Licence desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in HGV/LGV/Plant/ Mechanics.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends when required.
