Trainee Estimator
£25,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Private Healthcare + Pension + Benefits
Chesterfield (Commutable from: Barlborough, Mansfield, Alfreton, Clay Cross, Matlock and Dronfield)
Are you a newly qualified Engineer, looking to kick start your career within a technical role for a growing business offering further training and career development?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close knit team, where you will put your skills into practice and progress into an expert Technical Estimator.
This well-established business work within the lighting industry and operate across multiple sites throughout the UK. Due to their ongoing success, they are continuing to grow and offer a supportive working environment for their staff.
The ideal candidate will come from an Engineering background, with the ability to interpret CAD drawings, looking for a technically interesting role with a great work-life balance.
The Role:
- Dealing with incoming enquiries
- Interpreting enquiries and CAD drawings
- Pricing internally and producing quotations
- Liaising with the shop floor
- Monday to Friday, office based role
The Person:
- Technical / Engineering background
- Degree / HND / HNC / Apprenticeship within a relevant field (Engineering, Mechanical etc.)
- Ability to interpret engineering / CAD drawings
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Anyone with previous experience working within Technical Sales, Proposals, Estimating or relevant would be highly advantageous (not essential)
