This continually expanding bespoke company is a market leader in plant hire, service and maintenance and has grown to become one of the dominant names in the industry with a network covering the length and breadth of the UK & as such there is an exciting opportunity to join them as they expand their permanent team.
The role will be office & phone based and will involve talking customers, clients and engineers through post sales after care. This is bespoke plant equipment and queries and enquiries may include performance issues, breakdowns and general service and maintenance issues. Your job will be to use your extensive knowledge and experience to assess the situation & where possible fault find any problems with the equipment whilst talking the client or engineer through the solutions to complete works out on their sites wherever possible, in order to reduce downtime. Full product training will be given for this role.
This fantastic role is pivotal to the company's continued success & would suit someone with knowledge of engines & the service & maintenance of plant /agricultural /vehicle or REME machinery / equipment. You will have a calm and logical manner & great communication & customer service skills, alongside problem solving and multitasking abilities.
The Role:
- Aftersales / Technical support - post sale service care, fault finding/diagnosing service and maintenance issues for clients & field service engineers so they are able to fix machinery on site and as such reducing the amount of down time
- Office and phone based within a very busy manufacturing environment
- Full machinery / equipment training given alongside continued development & progression long term
The Person:
- Aftersales / Technical support background or a mechanic/ service engineer or similar looking to move into an office-based role (full training will be given on the equipment before starting aftersales position)
- Background in mechanical service & maintenance with knowledge of engines, hydraulics etc. backgrounds considered inc. REME, HGV, Agricultural, Plant, Vehicle, lifts & more
- Highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional levels of customer service to a dedicated client base
- Calm and logical manner, great communication skills, problem solving and multitasking abilities
