Technical Support Engineer
$135,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + Progression to Management + 401k + Medical + Dental + Vision + PTO
Gainesville, GA (Commutable from: Atlanta, Buford, Cumming, Athens)
Are you a Field Engineer within the Power Generation industry, looking to transition off the tools and reduce travel, while stepping into a stable, technically rewarding office-based role, where you can progress into management and technical leadership.
On offer is the opportunity to take your hands-on experience and apply it in a technical support position, where you'll be guiding field teams, solving complex turbine issues, and playing a crucial role in the success of a growing engineering department. This is a chance to continue doing meaningful technical work while eliminating your time in the field.
This business is growing rapidly in the Power Generation industry and is investing in the creation of a new support division. You'll have the chance to shape processes, share best practices, and eventually grow into a technical leader or department head, depending on your career goals.
You'll be the go-to expert for Field Engineers and customers, helping them navigate complex challenges during outages and inspections. Your experience will directly influence procedures, technical documentation, and the overall reliability of fleet operations.
This role would suit an experienced Field or Service Engineer from an OEM or turbine background, looking to come off the road and move into a permanent, full-time support role that still allows you to make a significant technical impact.
The Role:
- Support customers & field engineers with technical issues through remote analysis
- Create documentation of maintenance recommendations
- Risk assessment & presentation to customers
- Grow your own technical support team

- OEM Experience
- Turbine and Machinery Understanding
- Looking to progress into Leadership or Technical Expert level roles
