This long standing business are specialists within the tooling and machining industry, boasting multiple sites across the UK. Due to extended growth and increased demand for their services, they are looking for an additional Technical Sales Engineer to enhance their work across the UK, but mainly targeting the North of England.

In this role you will be tasked with visiting customer sites, trialing and demonstrating tools and machinery, with the intention of winning new business for the company. You will also be a dedicated account manager for existing customers where you will utilise your relationship building skills, to not only generate new business but also to sustain existing accounts.

The ideal candidate for this role would be a commercially astute Engineer with a flair for sales. You will be comfortable with not only face to face selling but also with technical aspects of tools and machinery, and are able to communicate clearly and informatively on various aspects of the product. You will also be based in the Midlands/North area, as the role mainly covers the North of England and Scotland.

The Role:
*Technical Sales Engineer
*Generating new business and sustaining existing accounts in order to grow customer base for the business
*Going out to customer sites, trailing and demonstrating company products
*UK Wide patch, but mainly covering the North of England and Scotland

The Person:
*Previous experience as an Engineer or Sales Engineer working in Tooling / Drilling / Precision Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining or similar
*Commercial mindset, with proven sales experience
*Passionate and enthusiastic about engineering, with technical knowledge on precision engineering.
*Based in Midlands / North England or Scotland ideally
