Technical Project Manager - Satellite Technology
€75,000 - €85,000 Hamburg

Exciting opportunity for a technical professional with experience managing projects within the Maritime or Defense industries!
The company are specialists in the field of satellite communications and supply across many commercial and public sector areas. Due to increase in demand and company growth they are looking for a new project manager to work in their highly innovative and dynamic team in Hamburg.
In the role you will be leading the full lifecycle of a project, from coordinating with their sales team, all the way through to final commissioning and project closure. You will develop and manage project documentation, from project and implementation plans to time schedules and risk registers. You will have contact with every division at the company to ensure a quality project is delivered in an efficient timescale.
The candidate must be eligible for Sicherheitsüberprüfung Ü2 Security Clearance due to the cutting edge and innovative technology the company produces, and their ties to the government/defense industries. You will need to come from a technical background with experience or a qualification in project management, and will have strong communication skills in both German and English.

The Role:
- Delivering and Managing projects from pre-sales up until project closure
- Communicating clearly with all teams internationally within the company
- Visiting customers 1-2 days per month (potential for international travel)
- Managing direct teams within the project to ensure quality, efficient work takes place
The Candidate:
- Technical background within a comparable industry (e.g. Maritime or Defense)
- Experience in Project Management or a qualification/degree in the field
- Willingness for international travel occasionally
- Fluent in German and English Speaking
