Technical Author (Engineering/ Maritime Systems)
£40,000 - £47,000 + 37.5 hrs a week + Annual Salary Reviews + 8% Pension + 36 days Holiday + Autonomy + Medical & Health Insurance + Mix of Hybrid and Office Work

This company is part of a larger group and specialise in the development of the newest cutting edge products, systems and technology within the subsea, maritime, defence /military, aerospace and digital industries. They are a multinational business and the market leaders in their chosen field, with a real drive for technical excellence. To keep up with this demand and ensure they provide a premium service they are looking to bring in an Technical Writer / Author.
In this role you will deal with delivering all technical documents for the company its clients and its users including producing technical information such as product descriptions, user manuals, technical manuals and test procedures as well as ensuring compliance and collating documents.
This role would ideally suit a Technical Author / Writer looking to join a market leading company, where you will be given autonomy of projects and products, whilst progressing into a senior role.
The Role:
- Delivering all technical documents for the company and clients including user manuals, technical training presentations and technical maintenance documents as well as ensuring compliance and collating documents
- Days based (Mon-Fri) / 37.5 hrs a week
- Lots of technical development, progression and work life balance
- Autonomy
The Person:
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Has experience within technical writing and or documentation
- Live commutable to Bristol, Thornbury, Yate, Bath, Chippenham, Newport and the surrounding areas
