Site Foreman (Factory Setup)
San Diego / Tijuana (Initial 6 Months On-Site in Tijuana)
$80,000 - $100,000 + Full & Generous Benefits Package
Are you a Site Foreman with strong multi-trade knowledge who can take ownership of setting up and building a new modular manufacturing facility?
Do you want to play a key role in launching a cutting-edge modular operation, helping establish processes, train teams, and ensure the facility is built and operated to California building standards?
On offer is the chance to join a forward-thinking modular construction company at a pivotal stage of growth. You'll play a critical role in the full setup of a new factory in Tijuana, with long-term progression and executive exposure as the business scales.
This company is seeking a hands-on Site Foreman to lead the build-out, setup, and commissioning of a new modular manufacturing facility. You'll oversee trades, site works, and installations while also helping train local teams and embed best practices from day one.
The role will require significant time in Tijuana during the first 6 months, working closely with senior leadership, engineers, and operations teams to ensure the facility is set up for long-term success.
The Role:
- Lead the setup and construction of a new modular manufacturing facility in Tijuana
- Coordinate and oversee all trades including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
- Ensure all works align with California building codes and standards
- Support the development of site processes, workflows, and quality standards
- Conduct hands-on training for local teams and supervisors
- Troubleshoot build, installation, and production issues during ramp-up
- Report progress, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership
The Person:
- Experienced Site Foreman / Superintendent / Senior Trades Lead
- Strong working knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades
- Solid understanding of California building standards and compliance
- Hands-on, practical leader comfortable working on the tools when required
- Confident communicator able to train, mentor, and lead teams
- Willing and able to spend extended periods in Tijuana during the initial 6-month setup phase
