Setter/ Operator (Grinding)
Newport
£30,000 - £32,000 + 20% Shift Allowance + Earlies and Lates Shift Pattern, Monday to Friday (38.5hrs) + Overtime (x1.33) + 25 Days Holiday + up to 10% Pension + Half Day Friday + Training

Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for Machinist to help with their expansion and join their close-knit team near Newport by offering a generous package as well the opportunity for the right candidate to develop themselves within the business.
The core responsibilities of this role will be to work alongside the growing machine shop team to work to high standards on their varied subcontract projects. You will have the chance to upskill in other areas to diversify yourself within the engineering team.
The right candidate will have come from a machine shop engineering background and be able to read engineering drawings.

The person:
*Setter/ Operator OR Machinist OR Grinder OR Toolmaker or similar background experience
*Finishing, polishing or grinding backgrounds all considered
*Able to read engineering drawings
*Earlies & Lates Shift Pattern - (Earlies - 7am-4pm / Lates - 2 pm -12 am)
