On offer is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join a busy site in Birmingham, in a fast paced and varied role, where you will manage the day to day operations of a busy team of drivers and administrators. You will motivate and drive the team forwards to deliver an optimum service to loyal customers whilst working to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in Service Delivery Management and be from a waste/recycling or logistics background. You will be passionate about delivering the highest levels of service and a more sustainable future, and be a people leader looking for a fast paced role, where you can really make a difference within the team and company.

The role:

  • To plan, organise, and manage the daily work of the office and the collection drivers
  • Prioritise work schedules to maximise efficiency
  • Enforce road traffic legislation and oversee day-to-day driver activities
  • Conduct driver appraisals and assist in new driver induction
  • Responding to customer inquiries & complaints
  • Conduct daily route debriefs & ensure drivers perform pre and post-shift vehicle checks
  • Site surveys & signing off on new contracts, ensuring feasibility and location compatibility

The person:


* Strong leadership & customer service skills
* Knowledge of Tachograph legislation & valid driving license
* Looking for a fast paced role where you can make a difference whilst progressing your career & building your team
* Tenacious, resilient, and flexible with the ability to lead & motivate a team to deliver exceptional results
