Gatwick Office with Hybrid Working

£38,000 to £50,000 + Bonus + Clear Route to Associate + Funded Chartership Support + Healthcare Package

This opportunity offers a key position within a well-established multidisciplinary planning and highways consultancy known for delivering high quality residential, infrastructure, healthcare, education and regeneration projects. With a strong pipeline of work and continued expansion across multiple offices, the business is investing in experienced planners to support project delivery and future growth.

As a Senior Planner, you will manage smaller projects independently while supporting Directors on larger, complex schemes. You will oversee workloads across the planning team, mentor junior staff and play a visible role in client meetings and stakeholder engagement.

The business strongly promotes internal progression, with many senior leaders having advanced from junior positions. Senior Planners can progress to Associate level quickly, particularly with chartership, and are supported through funded professional development, CPD programmes and mentoring from experienced leaders. This role offers both stability and genuine long term career progression.

The ideal candidate will have strong town planning experience, be confident working with clients and demonstrate excellent organisational skills. Support is provided toward achieving chartership.

The Role:

  • Managing planning projects from inception to determination
  • Supporting Directors on major and complex schemes
  • Overseeing workloads and coordinating planning team activities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior planners
  • Attending client, stakeholder and project meetings
  • Liaising with architects, surveyors and external consultants


The Person:

  • Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline
  • Strong experience in town planning
  • Confident communicator with client facing experience
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
