Senior Design Engineer

This is a well-established and leading company that designs and manufactures high-quality products for specialist industries worldwide. They are looking to expand their Design & Development team due to significant growth and investment in state-of-the-art technology.
This role requires a highly technical individual who can manage their own workload and lead projects from concept to completion.
You will be responsible for complex mechanical designs, performing essential calculations, and working closely with the production team to ensure all products are optimized for manufacture and assembly.
The Role:
- Manage complex end-to-end design projects, coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Perform mechanical calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and performance
- Lead design reviews and produce detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
The Person:
- Proven experience in a mechanical design role with a strong understanding of manufacturing techniques
- Proficient in 3D CAD software and experienced in design for manufacture (DFM)
- Ability to lead complex projects, manage multiple workstreams, and meet deadlines
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent transferable qualification
