Senior Front-End Engineer (Angular)
Greater London (Remote/Hybrid - Flexible Working)
£60,000 - £80,000 + Growth + Leadership + Equity Opportunities
An excellent opportunity awaits a strong Frontend Engineer with solid Angular experience who is looking to take a leading role within a growing, well-funded early-stage start-up. This position offers real ownership, shaping architecture, influencing product direction, and helping scale an engineering function from the ground up.
This company is a well-backed early-stage start-up with major commercial contracts already secured and founders who have previously built and exited successful businesses. They are building a data-driven platform that streamlines complex, multi-step processes through modelling, optimisation and workflow automation.
In this role, you will take ownership of the frontend, leading architecture and driving end-to-end development of the user-facing platform. Working closely with an experienced, backend-leaning CTO and the founders, you will help define technical direction as the team grows. With planned hires over the next 18 months, this role naturally progresses into a broader leadership position. The role is based in Central London, with flexible remote working and collaborative in-person time throughout the month.
The ideal candidate will have strong frontend architecture and engineering experience, ideally with latest versions of Angular. Experience with NgRx, RxJS and deploying to cloud environments is desirable. More importantly, they will be motivated by ownership, leadership and the opportunity to grow within a scaling business.

The Role:
Lead the frontend development and take ownership of the Angular platform
Deliver features end to end and help define technical standards
Work closely with the founders and CTO
Support the growth of the engineering team as new hires join
Based in Central London with flexible remote working and regular in-office collaboration
The Person:
*Strong frontend development experience, ideally using modern Angular
*Experience with state management tools such as NgRx or RxJS
*Familiar with deploying applications into cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
*Interested in taking on responsibility and contributing to technical direction
*Looking to grow within an early-stage, scaling business
