Senior Firmware Engineer (Embedded Systems & Hardware Integration)

$110,000 - $140,000 + Medical/Dental/Vision + 401k + PTO + Paid Holidays
Are you an experienced software or firmware engineer with strong expertise in embedded systems, low-level programming, and hardware-integrated product development?
This is a great opportunity to join a specialist engineering organization building advanced sensing, instrumentation, and real-time data-acquisition technologies used in demanding operational environments.
In this role, you'll design and develop embedded software and firmware for next-generation hardware platforms, working across real-time system constraints, data interfaces, signal acquisition, and device-level optimization. You'll contribute to architecture decisions, support new product development, and enhance existing embedded modules to improve reliability, performance, and functionality.
The role suits a skilled Firmware Engineer looking for long-term stability, strong technical ownership, and the opportunity to build deep expertise within embedded development, hardware-software integration, and real-time system design.
The Role:
*Design and develop embedded software/firmware for real-time hardware systems
*Implement and optimize device drivers, communication interfaces, and microcontroller logic
*Support lab-based testing, debugging, and system validation across hardware platforms
*Contribute to architecture decisions, performance improvements, and product reliability
The Person:
*Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded and firmware development
*Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware-level debugging
*Background in device communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet)
*Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
