Senior Electrical Engineer (Robotics / Embedded Systems)
$130,000 - $170,000 + Generous Equity + PTO

Are you a senior electrical engineer passionate about embedded systems and ready to shape the future of an electrical engineering team-while working directly alongside the CEO at a fast-moving startup driving real innovation?
On offer is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of electrical design at a fast-moving startup developing advanced robotic manipulators used in both industrial and human-assistive applications.
You'll be working closely with the CEO, leading and growing the electrical department at a company that builds real-world systems from the ground up. This role blends embedded firmware, PCB design, and system integration in a hands-on environment where your contributions directly shape the product roadmap.
You'll work across disciplines-hardware, software, and mechanical-to deliver compact, high-performance systems that are production-ready and field-tested.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with leadership qualities, who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving tough electromechanical problems, and is excited to work on products with real-world impact.
The Role:
*Spearhead embedded system development from architectural design to full deployment
*Design, implement, and test multi-layer PCBs, embedded firmware, and precision motor control systems
*Own end-to-end debugging, validation, and hands-on hardware/software system integration
*Mentor junior engineers while helping to shape and scale a high-performing electrical engineering team
The Person:
*Deep expertise in motor control systems, including precision tuning and real-time control
*Extensive experience in developing embedded firmware using C and C++
*Solid foundation in PCB design, from schematic capture to layout and testing
*Leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring, collaboration, and technical ownership
