Boston, MA - Hybrid Working

$150,000 - $160,000 DOE + Excellent Commission Scheme + Medical + Dental + 401k + PTO

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Business Development or Sales professional with Energy Performance or Energy Services experience to play a pivotal role in the growth of an established ESCo across the East Coast.

This specialist Energy company works with a range of commercial, industrial, residential, retail, leisure and hospitality clients to deliver turnkey solutions relating to Energy Efficiency, Conservation and Carbon Reduction Measures. They have delivered groundbreaking projects including the largest Geothermal system in New York, and they are now expanding their business out of several new offices.

In this role you will be responsible for growing the company's presence in the Commercial and Industrial markets, selling high-value 'Energy-as-a-Service' agreements and fostering beneficial relationships with key decision-makers at the C-Suite/Executive level.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years' experience in Sales/Business Development in the Energy Efficiency, Energy Services or Renewable Energy sector where they will have secured high-value deals with commercial / industrial clients such as for office spaces, retail, education or healthcare facilities.

The role:
* Developing and executing sales strategy for target markets (education, healthcare, senior living, offices, manufacturing etc)
* Carrying out market analysis to identify and capitalize on new opportunities/trends
* Meeting with and establishing close relationships with C-Suite and Executive level leaders to negotiate and close on multimillion dollar agreements
* Liaising with internal project management staff to ensure contractual agreements met
* Analyzing and reporting on sales data and research to upper management
* Attending conferences, events and networking opportunities to promote the business

The Person:
* 9+ years' experience in Sales/BD in the Energy Efficiency, Energy Performance, Energy Services or Renewable Energy industries
* Proven track record in reaching high value agreements with commercial and industrial clients
* Experience with selling directly to C-Suite and Executive leadership
* Active driving license
