Renewables Trainer / Lecturer

£37,500 - £45,000 + Further Training + Highly Autonomous + Progression + Benefits

Site Based - Birmingham


Are you a qualified Trainer / Assessor in renewables looking for an opportunity to join an up and coming training provider in a highly autonomous position with fantastic routes of progression?

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skillset as a Trainer / Assessor, with continuous training into new avenues of renewables and ongoing support with further education qualifications. You'll use your industry knowledge across areas such as solar PV, EV charging, and emerging green technologies to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers entering the renewable sector.

This company are a leading Energy Efficiency business, that work alongside key organisations for install and service of energy saving measures and due to continued expansion they are setting up their own training centre that you would be instrumental in developing.

In this role, you'll deliver both practical and theory-based sessions to industry learners and apprentices, helping them build the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required within the renewables industry. You'll mentor learners, track their progress, and play a key role in preparing them for successful careers within this rapidly expanding sector.

The ideal candidate would be Assessor or Trainer qualified within a renewables discipline, with strong industry experience and a passion for developing others. Further assistance in your training and development will be provided, as you upskill and continue your own development.

The Role
* Deliver classroom and workshop-based training in renewable technologies (e.g. Solar PV, EV Charging, Electrical fundamentals)
* Support and mentor students and apprentices to develop practical and theoretical knowledge
* Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
* Contribute to curriculum development aligned with industry standards and sustainability goals

The Person
* Level 3 Training or Assessing
* Industry experience within electrical or renewable sectors (Solar PV, EV, heat pumps desirable)
* Passion for renewables and developing the future workforce
* Motivated to transition into a training / teaching role
* Based within a commutable distance of Birmingham
