Research and Development Engineer (Electronics)
£45,000 - £48,000 + Development + Flexible & Hybrid Working + Company Benefits

Do you have an academic or industry-based Research and Development background within Electronics Engineering? Are you looking to join an innovative company where you will work on solutions-focused R&D projects for end-users and routinely showcase your expertise?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team of engineering experts, who will enable you to work on a variety of technically interesting R&D projects, while supporting your personal career development through further training (approximately 10% of your week).
This well-established organisation operates on a global scale and serves a range of niche industries. As part of their continued expansion, they are now looking to recruit into their R&D team to support exciting incoming projects.
On offer is a highly varied role, split between developing bespoke upgrades to existing systems, and complete new product development. You will work closely with clients to take projects through to proof-of-concept.
This role suits a Research and Development Engineer looking to progress within a lucrative industry, with time allocated during the working week for personal development.

The Person
- Research & Development background
- Degree qualified (MEng, MSc, PhD) in Electronics Engineering
- Experienced with electronics design (Altium) and related tools including LTSpice and MATLAB
- Hands-on laboratory experience in soldering and wiring
- Experience programming in either Python or C
